About
I am an experienced math teacher of 7 years in grades 4-12 Mathematics. I specialize in foundational skill gaps included but not limited to basic arithmetic, proportional relationships, and number sense. I believe students who grasp concepts are more apt to meet application problems with solutions. Math requires an out of the box approach and interpretation of multiple strategies/solutions.
I enjoy helping students grown in the areas they feel less confident. I believe approaching problems in pieces is the key!
