English And Writing Tutor
About
I'm a senior in highschool, the benefit being that all subject materials are fresh in my mind. I have much experience with writing and composition as I am involved in many writer's conferences where I have gone through the editing process of my own work in it's publishing progress. I've mantained a 4.0 GPA throughout highschool and have aided many peers in their academic struggles during that time. I edit papers, work with students to form strong theses, critique creative writing, and help with basic critical thinking questions that arise in everyday homework assignments.
Nothing makes me more excited to see a student that is proud of their finished work. I won't do the work for them, but I will work to drive them to success in their assignments. I've helped students in my own grade, but I'm willing to work with any grade below as well. I usually meet at a local Starbucks or library around Collierville, where I live. I am an aspiring professor and professional writer so I am really hoping to get even more experience.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In the writing process of an essay, I would sit down with a student and ask them what they like most about their class and what would excite them most to write about. Having a brainstorming session and throwing ideas together that can combine what they love with what their requirements are is the ultimate goal!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Other than tutoring family friends, I have also taken a two year, advanced creative writing course that has prepared me for critiquing, researching, and story structure for college and professional level work.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For all students I have a standard rate of $12 an hour.
