About
I am from North Carolina. I graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Math in 2014 as a National Merit Scholar. There, I was also a Residential Life Advisor. I have taken math through Calculus III in college, including Differential Equations.
I am passionate about teaching. Math is an integral part of our modern world. My goal is, not only to prepare students to excel in their classes, but also prepare them to navigate the real world successfully.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first step is to get a gauge of where the student is. I want them to solve a problem from their coursework step by step.
From there, we can dive into specific concepts, working through different examples systematically. I am a big believer in repetition and critical thinking.
Finally, I create “mock” exams to test their knowledge in a pressure environment.
