Hello! My name is Omar Valencia and I went to college of become a math teacher. After 4 and a half years of studying, I chose to become and financial advisor instead. I've been very happy with my decision, but I do still love tutoring algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and more!
I was constantly told throughout high school and college that I explain things better than the teacher/professor, that I make things simple, and that I'm very patient, which are some of the reasons I chose to study math education. I do my best to help people enjoy math and not be scared of it. I've always said, you're not bad at math, your teacher just didn't make it simple enough.
