Michelle Smith

Hello! I am a recent college graduate with a bachelors in elementary education. I have always loved working with students, and I prefer small group or individual work. I have worked with almost every age group, but primarily toddler and school aged kids. I tutored in high school, worked in daycare, and taught upper elementary.

Working with individuals is fun because I can focus on their personal strengths and weaknesses. I can tailor a lesson to their learning style, going st their speed. I can use music, games, sensory activities, and more to make learning fun. In memorization, repetition is important, but that doesn't mean it has to be boring.

Math, reading, and grammar are my favorite areas to work with. Upon request I will consider other areas. In person allows more range of activities, but I may be able to do zoom as needed.
