Janet's Math Tutoring

With over 20 years of math tutoring experience, I enjoy helping students gain more confidence and understanding in their math education. I have a graduate level degree in Secondary Education of Mathematics. As a former public school teacher, a homeschool mom, a homeschool co-op teacher, and a private math tutor, I have experienced a variety of students with differing skill levels. I have enjoyed each student and look forward to meeting new students. I seek to provide multiple ways for students to understand new concepts. My favorite subjects to teach include Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and Algebra II. My goal as a tutor is to provide a better understanding the material at hand and nurture a love of learning.
