With over 10 years experience Meghan seeks to help students at all grade levels achieve their best. With specialities in STEM, and test prep, Meghan works to meet each student where they are at and help their discover there personal learning style and adapt other teachers styles into their own.
Meghan has 2 Master's Degrees. One in Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analysis from Michigan State University, and one in Biblical Counseling from Liberty University. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Homeland Security Studies, and a Bachelors Degree in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy.
Meghan has also worked previously as a Teaching Assistant for Trigonometry and Precalculus at Michigan State University, as well as a Tutor in Michigan State Univerisity's Math Learning Center.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
As a tutor, my first goal is to assess where they are at with the topic of concern. From there I work to diagnose if the issue is in how the material is presented to the student or if the topic itself is the challenge. Through this process I get a feel of the best learning method for each student from their I create and implement individual lesson plans for each student that include instruction and additional practice and support for the student.
