About
I am qualified to offer excellent English teaching for ESL and ELA students (non-native English speakers and native English speakers). I completed my English as a Second Language Teaching Qualification through the International TEFL Academy. Additionally, I have a university degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (BA in U.S. History and Archaeology) and professional experience in public speaking. I also have a European Diploma in the Spanish language and can fluently communicate with Spanish speakers. I offer personalized tutoring for children and adults and strive to create a fun and friendly environment in all of my classes. My students will have fun in a class with me and see improvement!
I love meeting new people, especially people from different cultures and countries. Teaching English is a great way to do that! I also love working with children and can help your child if they struggle in their ELA (English language and writing) class. I have over a year of expereince teaching children online.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student (kids and adults alike), I like to know as much as possible about the student's learning goals and any potential trouble areas they may have because I strive to make my tutoring as personalized as possible. With this mission in mind, it also helps to know the student's general interests so I can create a class where they will be interested and engaged. I will also ask for the student's age, grade, and the type of school they attend in order to better understand their learning environment and needs.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge $20-25 for 30 minute sessions (depending on each student, their situation, and learning needs). I am flexible on pricing. Please send me a message with any questions!
