Spanish Language And Culture Tutoring/ Elementary Reading And Math Proficiency Tutoring/ Volleyball Lessons
About
I have a Masters degree in Spanish Education from Auburn University. I love the Spanish language, and I taught in a DD2 high school. I have tutored math, English, and Spanish since I graduated high school. If your child is struggling with Spanish or you want your child to learn Spanish, please contact me. Also, if your child is studying in any subject, I can use the many tools I know to help them succeed and thrive in their classroom. Lastly, if you want your child to play volleyball for a team, I have been a head volleyball coach and assistant coach at my previous high school for five years. I can take a child who wants to learn the game and give them the mechanics to be a leader on the court. I have helped players who were beginning to players who were more advanced. I look forward to working with you!!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to see how a student learns. Tutoring can help a student, but the student needs to be able to take the skills from tutoring and apply it to their own study time. By identifying how your child learns, I can use certain techniques to reach your child. When I was younger, I was a visual, auditory, and musical learner, but every child is different. After determining this, we will reach the goals for the student with positive reinforcement and using methods that best fits that individual child.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching for 9 years. I have tutored since my junior year of high school. I have tutored every subject in high school, college, or after school with my students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
If the child can meet at my house or close to to my house, I charge less due to the gas and time.
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring in high school, and I loved it. I've been tutoring ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
