I am friendly, patient, and will help you become successful in Math. I am a middle school teacher with a BS in Math. I have been teaching for 10 years and tutoring for 15 years. I will never give up on you! I will believe in your Math abilities and try every way possible to help you understand.
I enjoy seeing students build confidence in the abilities they don't even realize they have. I love seeing the 'ah ha' moments when they truly understand a concept. You don't have to be a Math whiz or even love Math to be successful in it!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Chat a bit to get to know them and to understand their Math background. What immediate problems are they having? Do we need to back up and refresh their prerequisite knowledge in order to move forward with the concept at hand? This is where I would start.
