About

As a high school student, I have taken the courses that my students are currently taking. While still a high schooler, I am also a student at College of Charleston, taking advanced math and physics classes. Because of this, I can connect with students through a student’s perspective.

As a young physicist, I am working to become a professor in the future. Working with students, particularly helping them to understand concepts in ways they haven’t thought about them before, is what I hope to do as a professor. I look to work with highschoolers interested in STEM.

Frequently asked questions

My typicial process for working with a new student depends on the student's current level of understanding, personality, and goals for their work.

For example, for a student who is completely new to a subject and wants to acheive an "A" in it, I would give them a short diagnostic and begin with learning the basics. However, for a student with a moderate ammount of experience with the same goals, I would work on maintaining understanding and correcting misconceptions.

I have taken every math course and nearly all of the science courses offered in CCSD within the past four years. I also have taken more advanced courses in both, allowing me to give a unique view of basic concepts from a more advanced perspective, allowing my students to more easily grow into advanced courses.

My standard pricing is $30/hr for high-school level math and science tutoring, $40/hr for AP-level or equivelant course tutoring, and $45/hr for standardized test tutoring (SAT or ACT).
