Designed With A Purpose

I began Designed with a Purpose as a way to provide parents, teachers, and schools with resources and tools to benefit children and young adults with various learning needs. I focus on multi-sensory reading and math tutoring along with academic coaching for students ages 5-25. I am a certified Special Education Specialist with over 30 years experience as a teacher and administrator. I have a Bachelor's degree in special education, a Master's in Reading, and am currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Educational Technology.

My passion is to equip students with the skills and tools they need for success.

I love seeing students get excited about learning, especially when they are initially not sure that will happen. I use individual strengths in choosing strategies so that learning is more efficient. I also work to fill in learning gaps to build a strong foundation for future studies.
