April is a certified educator who has worked in K-6th Education for 10 years. Currently, she is a third grade gifted & talented teacher at Bowen's Corner Elementary School here in Charleston. April has her Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Winthrop University, a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University and a second Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Grand Canyon University.
