Parent feedback on our tutoring:
"I can't say enough about how pleased I am with TutelEDge. My son lacked confidence in math even though he had the skills. In a very short period of time after starting to work with Mr. T, I saw his confidence and skill level increase tremendously. We have worked with other great tutors in the past but the skills learned never seemed to transfer beyond the tutoring sessions. TutelEDge has been a game changer and I plan to use them every year my son is in high school."

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically we do a phone call to discuss educational goals and consult on a plan of action. Then, we get you registered and schedule your first sessions. In your first tutoring session, you get a chance to share your recent quizzes, tests, and homeworks with the tutor so they get an idea of your current progress and struggles.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My degree is in Chemistry, but I've been tutoring in both math and science for around 10 years. I've been doing it full time as a business for about 3 years now along with my wife and we really love supporting our students' success.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We typically charge hourly.
What types of students have you worked with?
We specialize in students who are taking advanced courses in high school and college. We've worked with students with a wide variety of struggles including keeping up with fast-paced courses, managing time between advanced programs and social/work/sports, conceptual gaps in knowledge base, add/adhd, or anxiety.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say the biggest piece of advice I can give a student who is looking for a tutor is to talk to the potential tutor. This is the quickest way to see if their style of tutoring and approaching the student fits with your expectations and needs.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is your goal in getting tutoring for this class?
