About
Smart Tart Tutoring, LLC provides academic tutoring services to elementary students in need of extra academic support in order to increase academic success. Students will receive instructional assistance with academic material in the area of math. We want to offer services to families with children who could benefit from a more personalized approach to learning. I have a Master's degree in elementary education and 15+ years of experience in private and public school settings.
I enjoy watching my students grow academically. Watching them gain a sense of self confidence in their mathematical ability is golden in my eyes. Providing useful strategies to my students is key to their success. I enjoy this work because when they leave me I know they are able to efficiently use the strategies independently.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I normally try to get a sense of what the parents and students hope to achieve from the sessions. From there I work closely with the students to reach those goals. I have a variety of strategies to help maximize the various learning styles.
