Jessie Owens

I have experience as a tutor for ten years working with the same students as go through their schooling. I have worked with students from elementary up to college for math and some science including chemistry and physics. Most of my experience comes from working with students in middle school and high school level math. I try to find different ways of explaining a concept until understanding occurs. I love it when I can help students when they might be having trouble and become more confident in their work. I try to be prepared for each session and encourage parents or students to let me know or send the subject matter, questions, or homework ahead of time so I can be ready to help.
