No matter the subject or the grade, level, I can help you or your student ace any test. As a current teacher, I know how teachers assess students, how to teach students the essential studying skills, and can come up with a mnemonic device for just about anything. By working with me, your student will be able to successfully study independently and won't need my services anymore!
I enjoy going through students' work with them and getting to the "ah ha" moment when they realize a misconception and know how to fix it. I am able to scaffold my teaching instruction and tutoring so that students can eventually do this on their own.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by either going over the student's most recent assessment or by making a list of topics, content, or skills that we need to address as notified by the student. From there, we I will address the most basic misconceptions and reteach content as necessary. Next, we will work our way to the current content or skills and will begin developing independent study habits that will help the student be successful in every subject area.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching high school and middle school for five years and have tutored since I was in high school.
What types of students have you worked with?
I can help the most stubborn student, the least driven student, the special education students, and English language learners.
