I offer direct online 1-on-1 teaching. This allows maximum focus on you or your childs needs. No distractions of other people. In the comfort of your home. You don't even need to wear shoes! I make my own schedule and have most days available. I am usually able to start within 24-48 hours, but sometimes sooner if my schedule hasn't already been filled. Priority to returning and recurring students.
Seeing the end result and knowing where the student started, and just being a part of the entire process is the most rewarding part. Knowing that I was able to share my knowledge with someone else to help them better themselves brings me so much happiness.

I have worked online teaching for various platforms for several years and I have also worked in developing a curriculum for a school system in Rhode Island. I have received my Bachelors degree and graduated Cum Laude.
Payment is required via Paypal prior to the first session. Subsequent sessions payment can be discussed as needed.
Recurring lessons are a flat $12.50 per half hour.
First time and non-recurring sessions range $10-$25 for 30min-60-min respectively. To prevent 15 min gaps in scheduling, all sessions will be billed per half hour and any unused portion will be rounded up. Your offer will be calculated on the requested session length. If a submitted contact request does not have a specified session length, my offer will be for a 30 minute session by default.
I stand behind the quality of the lessons that you will recieve from me and will be personally invested in seeing you succeed. It's in my nature to help others.
I have always enjoyed teaching- even as a student I loved to play teacher. I learned early that teaching someone else something you know only helps you learn it again. I enjoy sharing what I know about what I have learned. I started in high school as a TA for my Math Dept head. I did that for my Junior and Senior years. I continued in college by regularly holding study groups and being the stand out student to help others. Seeing others succeed with my help is an unmatched joy.
I usually work with students who want to learn and are interested in being in class. But I have also had my fair share of difficult students. My students I currently have range from 3-16, but I have had several adult learners as well. All are welcome!
Look for quality over price if it comes down to a few dollars. As a student of language courses now, I would much rather spend a little extra to have better content than cut corners with my learning. When it comes to education:
Don't sell yourself short. You deserve the best. You are worth it.
Read that again.
Will the teacher need to provide sample problems?
Do you have the materials ready to share electronically?
Do you have a quiet place you can be to maximize your learning and investment?
What type of learning style fits you? Do you want to hear the why behind the what? Do you learn with pnumonics and other types of "tricks"? Or are you more visual and need to see it on the screen in front of you? Maybe you need to do drills to practice the materials yourself and just have someone there to check with as you do your assignment.
