About
I am a college student at Temple University Harrisburg providing tutoring services to students middle school - high school in the areas of English, literature, and writing. I have experience working as an instructor at a tutoring center and as a tutor to peers during high school. I have taken honors english courses and the AP literature and composition exams and am a humanities major. I can travel to the student's home or meet at a public location such as Starbucks for work sessions.
I enjoy connecting with students so that I can work with them to learn new concepts or polish familiar skills in the way which best suites their comfort and needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will work with the student to evaluate their needs by discussing the areas they would like to grow in and reviewing work they have completed. Once we have determined the areas to improve, I can help the student come up with a plan for how to acheive growth through one on one practice and individual exercises.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked as an instructor at the tutoring center Kumon during high school and also tutored peers in my high school. I have completed a rigorous track of english courses and consider writing to be my skill concentration.

I charge $20 for hour long work sessions, ext. $30 for two hours.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students as young as preschool and through high school. I work best with middle school or high school students who are in classes with a focus on writing.
