Math Tutoring And More
About
I am currently an emergency medicine physician and have loved math for as long as I can remember! I remember doing multiplication tables at the dinner table- I'd always beat my older brother. My Mom would subsequently get annoyed with my dad for having us do this. It's honestly a fond memory and I'm happy to help anyone struggling with math, as I know it's not everyone's favorite. I always hid my enjoyment of the subject, which always seemed to come naturally to me because peers and friends all seemed to dislike and/or struggle with it. The latter was often the cause of the former.
I was always happy to offer my help with quizzes, homework, concepts and started formally tutoring in high school. I continued tutoring and currently still tutor medical students. I have tutored anything from geometry to calculus amongst other subjects, such as French and physiology.
While I didn't take advanced math courses in college due to my love of neuroscience and my future goals, I did easily get 100% in college-level calculus and also aced college statistics. I have also taken researched focused stats courses in med school.
I currently have a BS, a BA and an MD.
