Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start out with a basic assessment that is relevant to course material to get a general idea of the way the student thinks and learns. Then, I like to delve into the coursework as I find it easiest to assess and progress using relevant and real-time work. I am always open to questions and I always encourage my students to get a full understanding of the material before we move on. I also like to review topics that students were hung up on throughout the session at the end to reconfirm their understanding.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been peer tutoring students at Cornell University for over a year in complex material. I have also been apart of the Dean's List at Cornell University whilst pursuing an Engineering degree.
