About

I believe that learning is a process of discovery, and I strive to teach students how to think critically and independently regardless of subject area.

Core Subjects: Life Sciences/Biology; Essay Writing/Composition; Critical Thinking/Logic; Mathematics; Economics

Test Prep: SAT and GRE (math, verbal, and writing sections).

Patiently guiding students to become more confident in themselves and their abilities is always rewarding.

Francis was a very understanding instructor who made it really easy to enjoy the class! It was very easy to talk to him. He made us feel comfortable asking questions and made it easy to discuss things!

The first session is always FREE.

Thereafter we will submit a learning plan and a rate quote specific for the student, ranging from ~$40<->~$125/hour. There is no obligation on the part of the student/parent to continue service after the first free session.

The most intensive learning plans require substantial prep-work for the tutor outside of teaching sessions, resulting in higher rates (e.g. individually tailored SAT/GRE prep). Less intensive, online assistance with homework and review of school materials/notes starts at ~$40/hour.
