I have teaching and tutoring experience with many kinds of students and in many different settings. I tailor my assignments to you, your level, your interests, your strengths. I believe every student is intelligent, creative, and full of infinite potential. I also believe that learning should be something enjoyable to look forward to.
I love language and writing, and I love seeing students get over the idea that they are not 'good' at something, and find out that in fact they are very capable, and can enjoy something they were previously struggling with. I like getting to know my students and make lessons relevant to their interests and what works for them.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would have an initial conversation/consultation to discuss exactly what the student is looking for and to find out a little bit about them. At the same time, they can ask me questions about how I teach, or whatever other concerns they have. If we need to negotiate a price, we can do that based on the new information we've exchanged. Then we'd set up a schedule and begin!
