Since completing my Master's degree in 2011, I hvae made it my mission to become the best English tutor in the industry. I teach customized lessons dictated on what each of my students needs using techniques that I've perfected over the years. I take complicated, stressful tasks and teach my students to manage and excel: grammar, reading, writing, SATs, ACTs, and college essays. Tutoring might not be the best hour of any student's week, but it is never the worst one with me.
I love being able to work with students to help them acheive their dreams. So many students are on the verge of getting into their dream college and all they need is a little push and one-on-one guidance. I know how to teach students to earn the scores they need on the SATs or ACTs, stand out against college applications, and learn valuable reading and writing lessons they can take with them forever.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's degree in literature, where I was trained to teach English and creative writing at the college level. I have used that education to perfect my tutoring techniques since 2011 and have hundreds of successful students who have helped me grow as a teacher.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
There is more to a teacher than credentials alone. In my experience, personality and passion are everything. I have boiled so many difficult lessons down into managable lessons that stick with my students for years. I love showing my students that English doesn't have to be difficult - in fact, it can be really wonderful!
