We specialize in mathematics and exam preparation. We are commited to creating connections with our students in a compassionate way and communicating with them in a way that they individually can understand.
I live for the aha moments. Seeing the light turn on in my students eyes after they have come to understand a concept is special beyond words. I absolutely love helping my students learn to love math.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually have an online consultation with the parents of the student or with the adult student and listen to what their needs are. Once we decide how frequently we would like to have lessons based on our academic goals, we schedule our first lesson and begin! I generally give frequent updates about the students progress and what we go over to the parents.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science. I have many years of full-time tutoring experience and boast fantastic reviews on Google.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My rate is a resonable $60/hour usually. I offer packaging rates, such as 5% off of 4 lessons. I am working out sliding scales costs with students affected by the current economic climate.
How did you get started teaching?
I have a natural sense for teaching. I have grown it as a mother and tutoring student.
What types of students have you worked with?
Elementary students, middle school and high schoolers. Some students with emotional or learning disabilities. Adult learners and students in general preparing for examination.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Just today I had a gratifying experience with a student who has shown great improvment in just 4 lessons. She is catching up to the pace she should be at as a 3rd grader and is building confidence in her math skills. She really surprised me with how quickly she was answering questions today:)
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Choose someone who is experienced and excels in their craft. Find someone how has a record of happy students who enjoy working with them.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Having someone to discuss your issues with is helping. Putting into words what exactly is going on helps define goals.
