What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want to first understand where the student is in their understanding of a topic, how they're keeping up with their class and "diagnosing" their individual understanding of a topic and what areas are particular weaknesses. From there, it's important to practice to a point where a student gains not only mastery in a topic, but confidence in a class or subject.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
First hour is free, everything after is $15 / hour. I encourage parents to be involved.
How did you get started teaching?
I wanted to practice my knowledge, as well as pass it on to others and encourage enthusiasm in a subject.
