About
I have 15+ years in public education and write novels. I have certifications in Special Education, ESL, Spanish which I am fluent in, Math, and LA. I LOVE all aspects of Language Arts and writing. I also have unique experience preparing students who struggle with Math for Algebra using core standards, but adapting instruction for their needs. I am versed in various strategies, and use "outside the box" strategies to individualize instruction for each student's needs. I am dedicated to the progress and confidence of each student I teach.
I love the ability to tailor instruction to exactly what my students need, in the moment, using creativity and best practices that I have gained in my experience in the public and private sectors. I believe in open communication, high expectations, and providing necessary supports to help students and families reach their goals. I love to see progress in my students, and will do whatever it takes to see that progress is made. When it is, what a thrill that is!
