My passion for education shows in my interactions with students. I love when I can help a student understand a tough concept, so that they can find the joy in learning. Additionally, there are endless things to be learned from literature. I love when my students are able to immerse themselves in a book or short story, and can connect to the text.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I plan to meet with the propsective student, and their family, to discuss the educational needs of the student. Depending on these needs, I can give an outline of what material I think we should cover to best serve the student. If the student feels comfortable working with me, then we can then discuss the details of the tutoring arrangment (location, frequency, duration, etc.).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am new to private tutoring, however I have experience in the classroom and am in the process of obtaining my degree in English Education. Taking preparation into consideration, I feel $20 an hour is appropraite.
