About

Hello, and welcome to my tutoring services. I am pretty skilled in mathematics. Math was (and still is) my favorite subject compared to the other subjects. The highest level of math I have tutored was college algebra, therefore I am able to tutor math for students as young as Kindergarteners up to the college level.

I enjoy tutoring students in math if they happen to struggle with it. I want to do my best to help other students to succeed in math. I am very patient, optimistic, and cooperative with others.

Frequently asked questions

My typical process for working with a new student is that I would figure out the area of math thet they need help with and then figure out what they already know in the subject area. I would then ask them how often they would like to work on the subject and the cost of sessions.

I do not have much education or training that technially relates to tutoring. However, I am very experienced in mathematics from elementary grade levels up to college algebra & trigonometry. I have also tutored a few peers on my own and have some experience with tutoring others.

The pricing systems depends mostly on whether or not I would have to travel to the location of the student I am turoting. If I have to travel far, then the price may go up about $10 or so. Other than that, the standard pricing system would probably be around $15-20 per session.

I started tutoring my freshman year of college. A friend of mine asked me to tutor them so they would do well in our college algebra I class. Once I finished tutoring them for that semester, I figured that I really enjoyed tutoring other people and I would like to help students of all ages with any problems they have with math.

The students I have tutored were college sophomores. However, I have interacted with students from grade school up through high school.

Any advice that I would give a student would be to make sure you feel comfortable around your tutor. If you do not feel comfortable with them, then it will be difficult to focus on your studies. It would also be nice to interact and make a friendship with your tutur, because you never know when you may need them in the future.
