Jen’s Kindergarten Prep

Hello! My name is Jennifer, but you can call me Jen. I am currently a kindergarten teacher aide and a student at Southern New Hampshire University, where I am studying Child Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development. My goal is to become a school psychologist, so working with children and helping them succeed in school is something I am truly passionate about.

Working with me is a supportive and positive experience for students. I believe that every child learns in their own way and at their own pace, so I focus on creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and trying their best. My tutoring sessions are interactive and fun, especially for younger students. I like to use games, visual learning, and encouragement to help children stay engaged while building important academic skills.

I have experience working with young children in a classroom setting, especially in kindergarten. Because of this, I understand the skills children need to develop early literacy, counting, and basic learning habits. I am patient, understanding, and committed to helping each student grow both academically and personally.

I believe I will do an excellent job as a tutor because I truly care about helping children succeed and feel confident in their abilities. My experience in education, combined with my psychology studies, helps me understand how children learn and how to support them in a positive way. My goal is always to help students build strong foundations so they can feel proud of their progress and excited about learning.
