I am a 25 year veteran teacher/tutor with reading as a specialty and a Spanish language degree. I taught in elementary school as a reading specialist and ESOL specialist as well as K - 5 classroom teacher. I was a trainer of trainers in my school district for Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD), A method for teaching English through the subject areas to non-native speakers. I taught in 3 international bilingual schools in 2012 - 2016, in Turkey and Argentina. I believe that one on one help is what many students need and all can benefit from. I assess your child and create personalized activities to address their needs and increase their skills. I provide a safe, nurturing environment for your child to relax and develop what they need to be successful in school.
