I am a graduate of Bard College, known for its creative writing and peer tutoring programs. I have several years of experience with elementary and middle school aged kids. I am a tutor who really enjoys helping kids feel excited about the things they’re learning. I like getting to know my students in order to figure out what motivates them as an individual. I am patient and have a good sense of humor to make kids feel like the work we’re doing can be fun. I tailor our lessons to meet individual needs, and have a breadth of subject experience including essay writing, creative writing, mathematics, and history.

I'm a college student at the University of Hawaii. I have 5 years of experience working with students in various learning environments. Being a student myself I understand how challenging classes can be and I want to provide accessible assistance to anyone looking. Most of the experience I have is with general elementary education, French language, and essay writing. As a graduate student and mentor currently enrolled at Portland State University, I spend lots of my time supporting others. I have two years of experience as a special education teacher, as well as a bachelors degree in English and Special Education. I am going into my junior year of college majoring in communication sciences and disorders and majoring in special education.
