About
A female empowering students to have confidence in their pursuit of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). This world needs more inovators and scientists and I want to be able to kindle any spark of passion for that, like some of my teachers did for me.
I am currently a student at OCCC pursuing a degree in Environmental Chemistry and soon to transfer to more specialized coursework. I have worked with students since I was a sophomore in highschool (mostly in the math and science feilds). Also, I have regularly found myself as the classmate others go to for helpand leading study group conversation. Teaching helps me come to a new level of understanding of the topic and brings me joy to share the intellect.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with a simple get to know you conversation so we can open that communacation and find comfortability in working together. Then, I'll talk with the student about their course work. This helps me understand where their thought process is and how they go about learning. Then, I go about teaching them in a way I feel they may recieve better, and show them some study and resource tools. The most important part is keeping an open dialogue and progressing based on individual needs.
