About
I have a lot of experiance teaching and training a variety of people. In my career I teach people how to use CADD software as well as the math needed to calculate cost of materials. There is a wide variety of people with different learning styles and I have worked to hone my abilities and teaching different people
I struggled a lot in some subjects in school, and it was really terrible to feel like I couldn't keep up with my peers. I truly wish to make sure everyone can keep up and learn all they can while they have the oppurtunity in school. I really enjoy watching people become better and breaking through their barriers to become better students and people.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I really need to understand what it is the student is struggling with first. It really helps to narrow the problem down and focus on the deficency. After finding the problem I think practice really makes perfect and it's just a matter of working through problems and deceloping skills and processes to work through those problems.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a college student at the Univerty of Oklahoma. I study Civil Engineering. I also have two associated from OCCC. One is in Engineering, and the other is in Compute Science/Computer Programming.
My career so far has been in CADD. I started at the Department of Transportation and now work in the private sector. I worked at the department in a squad dedicated to training. Basically I taught people how to do a job. There was a lot of computer and math topics. In my current job in the private sector I lead a squad that develops plans. I don't teach as a priority, however I do help the people that work for me in specific issues that they may have, and that included occasionally training them in a process.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have had all sorts of students. Most have been adults of all ages, basically from 18 to retirement age.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students really need to try and understand what exactly it is that they need. If they are struggling with fractions, for example, it is best to try and narrow down what it is about fractions that is difficult and ask about that specifically.
