Questions For Quade
About
Hi!! I'm here to help with math and make the boring subject understandable. I am only 25 so I am just young enough to undertand all there is to know about "modern math". After a few trys it's not too hard, I promise.
I like helping people and showing everyone that math is actually needed. I literally do math everyday (and not just because it's my job). Ever need to leave tips for wait staff? Math. What about shopping but trying to figure out the price of those nice shoes that are on sale? Math. Not always fun but always needed.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student I like to discuss what they are currently learning in their math course and what tpye of learning they are most compfortable with. Some students are audio or visual learners while others, like myself, need hand written expamles to succeed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Finance degree and am currently working towards a second bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. I have completed all courses consisting of math up to Calculus IV, Differential Equations, Physics II, and Mathematical Physics with a 3.7 combined GPA in these higher level math courses.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I try to make my pricing as simple as possible. I charge $20 per hour of tutoring with a 1 hour minimum. The time charged will be rounded up to the next hour. For example, a lesson lasting 1 hour and 20 minutes will be rounded to 2 hours.
How did you get started teaching?
During the national quarantine I began helping out my nephews with their math homework and they started to call me often with questions they have had. They have all progressed very well and they began telling friends that I could help them with their math homework while their everyday teachers weren't as accessable. I enjoyed helping them along and seeing them do well. I just want to help more and more students.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students in 4th grade math all the way up to calculus III.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise picking a tutor that you could most relate to because it may be easier for tutors to find the right method of learning you need. At the same time you as the student can pick up faster on the tutors teaching style.
