About
I provide math tutoring for 1st - 7th grade students. I also provide handwriting classes. I am a Software Engineer with very good hold on mathematics. I have worked as a teaching assistant at my university while pursuing my Masters degree. I can help you understand the concepts with examples and prep you for your tests with assignments.
I have always enjoyed studying math during my academics. Since I like teaching and with the experience I have, I would like to help kids with their coursework.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. I would like to know what their syllabus is and what has been already covered in their classes
2. Next I would like to know what topics they find most difficult so we could spend more time on those.
3. Create a tentative plan which outlines what topics we will be working on for each week. This helps to keep track and be well prepared for tests
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Masters degreen in Electrical Engineering and a Masters degree in Computer Science. All of these degrees require solid math foundation.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The pricing may vary based upon the student's tutoring requirements such as number of hours, location and class. The price may be in the range of $20/hr-$40/hr
How did you get started teaching?
I have worked as teaching assistant during my masters where I taught classes, graded assignments and proctored examinations.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with undergraduate students during my masters.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Never hesitate to ask questions. More questions will give you the better understanding of the concepts.
