Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Finding out what the students level is and which part he/ she needs help? Student is a visual or verbal learner?
A successful student = Teacher's input + Student's input + Parents' support
In other words, teacher and student both have to work hard and parents have to support both sides, sometimes have to make their children work more and work harder, showing support to the teacher, not spoiling their children, sometimes has to comfort their children even if they made a mistake and not making an A.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was very happy students that finally can understand the equation concept and apply to the homeworks and eventually can use it to solve other kind of problems!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Talk to the teacher to know his or her expertise is and see if he/she can help you with the topics and your math level! Last but not least making a plan to help your math needs!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Gather your notes/ textbook/tests to show your teacher what you are learning(every school can be different) and what difficulties you are having. Telling your teacher your school schedule, for example, next week is mid-term. Talk to your teacher if you have been struggling everyday, so you may need homework help or just need test prep or just extra practice every week.
