Ty Spicer

I've loved math and teaching my whole life! I got my master's degree in applied math at the University of Tulsa in fall 2023, and have been an adjunct math professor at Tulsa Community College ever since.

I believe math makes our minds healthier, and I believe I have a knack for making it more intuitive at any level. I have a particular attraction to higher-level math. The highest I have taught is Differential Equations, which was one of my favorite courses in undergrad. Even when teaching high-level topics, I like to lean on more elementary concepts as much as possible. Math is a puzzle, and intuition is your friend!

I also have a passion for music. My original music is on my YouTube channel and Spotify, and I play guitar for my church. Lastly, I have several random hobbies, including video games, speedsolving the Rubik's Cube, Nonograms, and русский язык.
