About
Math and Science have always been a draw for me. I love science, and it led my to study Microbiolgy and Molecular genetics in college. I worked in laboratories all 4 years of college. Math was as expected (calculations), but I did ok until Calculus. Algebra was my favorite.
The joy of seeing that light bulb come on, when a concept or idea makes sense - truly priceless

I haven't been a professional teacher, but I have been a professional student with a lot hours and student loan debt. I have been a tutor and a teacher's assistant for over 4 years.

Get a puppy. They are wonderful and innocent, and the teach you kindness, patience and unconditional love.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should think about their passions, their expectations, and their goals. They should also think about their style of learning, and how we can work together to make it effective and aslo a wonderful experience each session.
