What is your typical process for working with a new student?
On the first visit our tutor will meet with the student and guardian to clarify the needs and goals of the student. Additionally, they will review any online resources, past assignments, report cards, test results, IEP plans, teacher notes, and listen to any additional feeback. They will then map out a game plan inorder to tailor the next upcoming tutor visits. We use a variety of resources including the school's curriculum, Club Z's curriculum and other resources to support the needs of that student. We will continue to modifiy and update this process based on the progress and needs of that student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Through our proprietary “Z!Tutor Match” system, we go to great lengths to match them with students based on personality, learning preferences, and academic strengths and weaknesses. Club Z! also offers the “Z! Guarantee” were you will get the right tutor every time, guaranteed! Our tutors are experts in their subject area(s) and are matched with your student based on his/her academic weaknesses. Many of our tutors are certified teachers, and all possess an educational degree and relevant tutoring experience. In addition, all are thoroughly screened and background checked prior to receiving a student assignment.
