Look for the best, expect the best, and aim high are my business mottos. I believe all students possess within them the desire to be their best selves and put forth their best efforts. Sometimes a student just needs encouragement, direction, and confidence to do their best and to aim high. My tutoring service is based on solid common sense and high standards.
I enjoy discovering my student's unique voice and drawing out their perspectives so they can write from the heart.Through gentle questioning, I challenge the student to make their writing succint yet descriptive which profoundly impacts the reader.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to find out what the student needs to accomplish and discuss the different ways we can achieve their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree in Education, a Bachelor's Degree in Education, and experience writing many essays, papers, and projects earning those degrees. I was a researcher and a writer for The National Geographic Society for two years. As a Training Manager for three different companies for 10+ years, I wrote training manuals, courses, and documentation. My best learning experience comes from helping my own daughter with many essays for high school, college, and med school.
