Olivia Cox

Hi! My name is Ms. Cox; many of my students call me Ms. C. I have been tutoring students in math and writing since I was a young student myself. I have taught students of all ages, including elementary, junior high, high school and college-age students. I started tutoring junior high students in math in 2014; this was followed by my time tutoring college-age students in writing during my bachelor's degree I earned from Bowling Green State University (2016-2020). I taught high school while I completed my Masters Degree, also from Bowling Green State University; during this time, I worked with juniors and seniors with IEPs, and specialized in math education. My education ideology centers around individualized education strategies based on the needs of each student and consistent communication with each student to ensure students are mastering material and having a positive experience. This individualized scaffolding strategy helps drive student learning and understanding. The goal is for students and parents to see real time progress in the desired subjects and have a positive learning experience!
