I have always had a passion and love working with children, which is why I got into education.
Having struggled with English myself in middle school, I know what it's like to need help, but struggle to ask for it. I am able to understand and relate to students therefore allowing me to connect with students. I am able to connect with my students, therefore allowing me to better help my students.
I am TESOL/TEFEL certified, allowing me to better teach the English language.

I first want to get to know my student, to build a foundation of trust and respect. When I get to know my student I can then incorporate materials that he/she likes into our lessons so that they are more engaged and interested.
This Fall I will be entering my fourth year of college where I am obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
As of May I am certified in TESOL/TEFL.
I have experience in teaching ages between the ages of five and twelve in a non-classroom environment. I have also worked in a preschool for a year where I worked with kids between the ages of two and half through five.
My standard pricing is $30.00 per hour.
In 2014 I started to help out my karate instructor teach the kids class and I realized how much I loved and enjoyed it. I knew I have always loved working with kids, but I never knew how much I loved and enjoyed teaching them until I started to teach karate.
While I was in high school I had the oppertunity to shadow at a school from grade levels pre-K through fifth, and was able to shadow the math and english specialist. Through this shadowing oppertunity I knew teaching was for me and since then I have been on the teaching path.
I have worked with children as young as one month to children as old as the age of twelve. In that mixture I have worked with children with ADHD/ADD and children who are autistic.
There was recently an aerospace event where the Young Eagles are at. The Young Eagles provide a free thirty minute plane ride to children between the ages of eight and seventeen. I am usually thee head volunteer of the event but was not able to attend, though I was still a part of it.
Allow your teacher to ask you the ice-breaker questions so that your teacher can get to know you better. It may seem silly, but when you build that base foundation it is truly beneficial.
