I love teaching math, science, engineering to students. I have over 10 years of teaching in engineering. My method of teaching involves getting the student to first of all understand the problem, understand what the problem is asking, what information is given,what information the student needs to find, what equations & scientific concepts the student needs to use to solve the problem, and the show step by step to solve it. I also like to draw schematics where needed to help the student grasp and visualize the problem. I also bring everything day examples to help the student understand better.

I am a recently retired high school math teacher with 17 years experience. I also have 3 years experience homeschooling. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a mechanical engineer. Please note, I can start tutoring after Labor Day - I will work with a student to give him or her whatever help is needed, such as support on homework assignments and preparing for upcoming quizzes and tests.
