About
I am known by my studensts to be flexible. I always ensure that every one of my students that needs a session can get a session on the days/times that he/she needs. I also work very hard to meet the specific needs of each individual and work at their pace to improve their skills and understanding of the material. I am always willing to work extra hours and prepare extra materials that may be helpful to remember/understand a certain topic. I also allow students or their parents to message me if they have a question or two that can be answered by message rather than making them come and pay. To summarize, I do everything I can to give each one of my students the best I have to get them to do their best.
My absolute favorite thing about tutoring is hearing back from the student him/herself or from the parents that the student is doing better. I believe that every student can do well in every class if they're given the opportunities they need to master the material so I love helping my students better understand every subject to prepare them to do their best. Hearing that a student is improving and becoming more confident is the best feeling ever and I can't wait to hear from you as well!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ensure that I make everyone feel welcome and enjoys their time with me. Just by working with the student a few times, I can undertsnad their strengths and weeknesses which is very important to me as it helps me make personalized lesson plans and explain content in terms and ways they undertsand. This allows me to focus on what my student needs help with the most and we work through it together until the subject is mastered.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have experience tutoring students independently and I’ve also been part of a peer tutoring program. I really enjoy tutoring, especially with math. For more details about my background, please contact me.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my students came to me with very little knowledge of math. He started out with getting F's on tests and moved up to a B in just a couple weeks after starting to work with me. This for me, is the most rewarding part of my job. Another student who started with me getting B's and coming multiple times a week now rarely need me and just got a 100% on the last test. I absolutely love hearing about my students doing well and I can't wait to hear from you.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone that is passionate and enjoys tutoring. Look for someone who actualy cares and loves what they're doing, someone who is not doing it for the money. The tutor should love kids especially if its for a younger student. Make sure that your tutor is flexible and you are comfortable with him/her. The tutor must be able to meet and make room for your preffered times and scheduling a session should not be difficult. Please contact me or I can provide you with reference phone numbers and you will see that I meet all of that and more. I will do everything I can to meet every one of your needs.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are you serious about getting a tutor at the moment? Please realize tutors have to pay to respond to requests so do not send a request and never open the website again.
