I enjoy being able to break topics down and compare it to scenarios that are relatable to the student. I believe that knowing how to study is a skill and I can help students become efficient studiers.
I enjoy making others feel more confident in their learning capabilities. I also enjoy being thorough when explaing a topic so that the student comprehends. Last but not least, I enjoy the moment when everything " clicks" and I can see how the lightbulb goes off on the student's face.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, the first step is to get to know them and understand their learning style.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In highschool, I took advanced classes and math classes 2 grades ahead. I took AP Calculus my junior year of highschool. I have a bachelor's degree in business adminsitration with a major in accounting and mino in finance. I also am a licensed CPA in the state of Ohio.

How did you get started teaching?
I am not a licensed teacher. I have tutoring experience as well as supervisory experience.

I passed the CPA exam in less than one year and passed each section on the 1st try.
