I have 13 years of teaching experience in AP Literature and Language, American Literature, British Literature, World Literature, Film, Drama, Media Studies, and all types of writing (including college entrance essays, creative writing, analytical essays, etc.) I taught in England for several years before moving back to the United States, where I taught in a private college prep school. I have worked with students of all ages and abilities throughout my career.
I have a BA Degree in English Literature and Theater Studies from Hiram College, and a Certificate of Advanced Professional Studies from the University of Plymouth in England. I earned Qualified Teacher Status in England through the Dorset Teacher Education Partnership Graduate Teacher Program. I also have my Ohio Teaching License in English.
Additionally, I am a certified, registered and insured yoga teacher. I offer private or small group yoga instruction in my home studio.
I love teaching writing and literature and I love working with students. It is so rewarding to see students move toward understanding difficult topics, and improve their writing skills.
