K-12 Mathematics Tutoring

I am a student myself, and have also been taught by tutors in the past. I love working with young kids because as I continue my studies in mathematics, I realize how impactful the things you learn at a young age can be in your understanding as you age. I've worked as a volunteer tutor for young kids at a church in my home town, and understand the struggles that kids undergo in learning math. Additionally, I am a learner who benefits from things being presented in multiple ways, and I've found that this is an effective way to teach. This is why I think tutoring is such a great addition to education, because students can have access to the time and attention it may take for them to understand material.

I enjoy the opportunity to help students create the foundation for important life skills. I was not a fan of math as a child, but through years of practice and learning, have developed a love for the subject that I hope to be able to share with others, so they can realize and benefit from the beauty of the subject sooner than I.
