In the fifth grade, I began tutoring first grade students in reading and writing. This continued into middle and high school, and a passion was grown. I love to share my knowledge of the English language and all that it has to offer. In college, I studied creative writing and English literature, earning my bachelor's degree on December 17th of 2021. During my three and a half years in college at Capital University, I greatly improved the skills that I had been developing for nearly my entire life: writing, editing, researching, and tutoring.
I love to improve and to see others improve. Thankfully, one of the best ways to better myself is to help better others, so tutoring is the best thing for me! I have had experience working with students of all ages, from elementary school students to university students and adult learners and enjoyed tutoring all age groups. In the many different tutoring sessions that I have participated in, I covered an array of different topics and skills: basic reading, text analyzation, creative writing, scholarly writing, etc. Hopefully I can help you or your child improve your skills like I have for so many other past students!
