Dajah Worthy Math Tutoring

I have been tutoring math and reading for about 10 years. In high school and through college I have enjoyed working with my peers, younger children, and even helping adults understand math. I really enjoy working with students in K-12 but am able to help adults as well. I take a very practical and interactive approach to math. Sometimes I would race with my students, make up songs, and find their learning style and comfortable to best see them succeed and know the material on their own.

I enjoy seeing students face light up when they finally understand the math concept and objective or they learn a new word. Tutoring allows me to help students improve math skills but also critical thinking skills that can be applied beyond the classroom. I love making tutoring fun and engaging with my students. I enjoy seeing students bring their test back to me with improved grades and confidence in who they are and what they can do.
